Independence Home Care Held Their First Networking Event At CareOne Assisted Living
Independence Home Care is starting the year off on a positive note; we held our first monthly networking event at CareOne At Hamilton Assisted Living, which is a beautiful community. There were 20 professionals in attendance from the senior healthcare field and everyone was very enthusiastic about our guest speaker, Dr. Van Beveren. Dr. Van Beveren, PHD, Owner of Princeton Health Integration Center of Princeton, spoke about the benefits of nutrition and how it plays a part in our memory & helps prevent degeneration as we age. Everyone left with something to think about regarding what we put into our mouths on a daily basis. Nutrition is key to allowing our bodies to function properly and live longer,“ You are what you eat,” As Dr. Van Beveren would say.
