Our Founder
Terri and Vincent Sajkowski founded Always Responsive Home Care to fulfil their dream of helping seniors remain at home as they age. They established the organization as a result of Terri’s extensive work caring for local seniors as a professional Registered Nurse in Gerontology, Home Care, and Hospice. Terri is known for her caring, compassionate nature, and expertise in Home Care. She is devoted to all her Clients and strives for them to live out their best life in the comfort of their own home.
Terri and Vincent also love the fact that they employ compassionate Caregivers, whom they respect and make sure they are always supported. They love that they are not only helping their Clients, but providing rewarding careers for their team allowing them to do what they love. Improving the well-being of others is the most rewarding gift they can give the world.
“After working for many years as a Hospice Nurse, I encountered numerous different Home Care agencies. I learned that by adding my nursing clinical expertise and spending time training and orienting the Caregiver, the care my Client received greatly improved. The Caregiver also had improved confidence and job satisfaction. Let's face it, needing a Caregiver is hard enough, so making sure your have the right agency supporting you is paramount.
I knew that I wanted to make a difference on a larger scale, so in 2010 I decided to open my own Home Care Agency. I am so proud of the wonderful organization I have created, but I could not have done it without the support of my husband Vincent, and my dedicated professional staff. Both my husband and I are truly humbled and honored to work with such wonderful, kind and giving people. We all look forward to working together and we all share the same commitment and goals of caring for our Clients as if they were our own family.

Our Caregivers
All of our Caregivers undergo an intense and rigorous screening process. Because of our high standards and excellent reputation we attract the "Most Elite" Caregivers in the industry.
All of our Caregivers must possess the following credentials to even be considered as a candidate:
- Active NJ Certified Home Health Aide Certificate
- 2 years or more of caregiving experience
- Verifiable professional references
- Verifiable personal references
- Clean background check
- Health Physical cleared for active work
- Tuberculosis screening & testing
- Proof of MMR Vaccination & titers
- Personality/psychological screening
- Lengthy and thorough 2 person interview
- License verification
- Covid-19 Vaccinations Provided & PPE
- DMV check and car insurance verification
- Document verification for work authorization
- Drug Screenings
- Annual Flu Vaccinations Provided
- We also offer our Caregivers a generous salary, paid sick time, medical benefits, employee recognition, ongoing training and job advancement and much more-we love our Caregivers!
Once the Candidate has made it through our screening process and is hired, they will then begin our Company Training & Orientation to make sure they thoroughly understand their role. This also allows us to see them in action and assists us in our selection and matching process with our Clients.
We then provide on-site RN orientation of the care plan and continued support for entire length of care. Our Registered Nurses provide monthly supervision and oversight of all our Caregivers.
